This month, we're sitting down with Xor, winner of the Best Innovative Watch Face (Wear OS) award in the 2025 Facer Awards, to learn more about the creative process behind his award-winning design, Plasma. This month, we're featuring Xor, winner of the Best Innovative Watch Face (Wear OS) in the 2025 Facer Awards.
As a graphics programmer, Xor has spent years blending mathematics, programming, art, and design to create stunning visual experiences everywhere from web browsers and video games to the Vegas Sphere. That same spirit of experimentation led to Plasma, an award-winning watch face inspired by science fiction and an unexpected breakthrough during development.

One of the best parts of the Facer community is seeing creators help each other grow.
Over the past several months, Facer Creator Partner KOI has been sharing the development of a custom tool, Radian, designed to make creating watch face elements faster and more intuitive. Along the way, he's invited feedback from fellow creators, implemented new ideas, and recently released the first public version for the community to explore.
It's a great example of the collaborative spirit that makes the Facer community so special. Whether you're designing your first watch face or your hundredth, it's exciting to see creators building tools that help everyone create more.
